Leveling Faster with Dugi Guides

There"s about as many views on power leveling as there is players in World of Warcraft. A lot of players see no problem with it as a person is paying to have it done, but even more consider it a barely disguised form of cheating. Personally, I've never felt like I was cheating while I was using Dugi's Leveling Guide.

Looking back, it was pretty common for a lot of games to come with cheat codes that could unlock cool features like "God" mode or unlimited ammo. I know I personally spent a good bit of my childhood totally destroying my Pokemon games with random glitches and hacks.

So why isn"t power leveling looked on fondly by players who enjoy using these codes themselves? Well, power leveling in a MMORPG is different because it effects a lot of players, not just one. When you are playing a game with literally millions of people, it can be really frustrating to see a player not putting any effort in but breezing through the levels twice as fast as they should. In that respect, I suppose players would be envious of people using Dugi's Guide since it does let you level very quickly.

Power leveling lets your character get to 85 faster than it should because your leveling is being handled by players who are paid to level your toon—it"s how they support their families! They put a lot of effort into it, and when they get off for the day, often times someone else will come and replace them. Some leveling services literally offer 24 hour leveling. No regular player can come close to competing with that!

Still, pretty much everyone can agree that you get to the point where leveling just isn"t fun. To me, the early levels are especially boring. I could probably do 60-85 a hundred times, but those first 59 levels can really kill your brain cells. I know there"s a lot of people out there like me, and it"s for people like us and people who have money but not time that spawned the creation of power leveling services.

Finding these services is pretty easy, although you never know exactly what you"re going to get. Keep in mind that power leveling is completely against Blizzard"s TOS, so if you get caught out, no one is going to help you. There are a ton of scams that happen for this very reason—they take your money, and your character, and you can"t do anything.

If you find a good legit power leveling service, you can expect to pay about $300USD for the service. During however long it takes for them to level your toon (usually about a month), you can"t log in or your chances of being banned increase dramatically. At the end of the month, you have a brand new level 85 and all you need to do is learn how to play your toon and you"re set to go.

An often cheaper way to get a high leveled toon is by buying a WoW character off eBay. These toons are already made and you have no options regarding their race or class, but they are often much cheaper than paying for a WoW power leveling service for that reason.

Unfortunately, like power leveling services, buying toons off eBay is also a bannable offense. eBay detection rate is lower than powerleveling services, but the scam rate is much higher.

There are legal ways to level your toon much faster than normal, too! One of the most wellknown methods is to run instances. Basically, you get a higher leveled toon to clear out a dungeon for you while you stand nearby and rack up the experience. The downside to this is that it"s not really that much faster than regular leveling, and it can be pretty boring after the first 20 instances. If you don"t have a friend that can do this, you also may have to pay gold for it ingame and it"s pretty expensive if you aren"t just insanely rich.

Although I"ve tried all the above methods (even got one of my accounts banned for power leveling), I finally settled on the fastest possible legit way to level my toons… using a WoW leveling guide. If you don"t already know, leveling guides are designed by professional players who are paid to know every little trick and leveling path in the game. Because of this, you know the route that you"re taking is the fastest possible way to get to the level cap.

Before using my leveling guide, it took at least a month to make a new toon—and that was when I was really serious about it. Now, I can make a level 85 easily in about a week. Not a bad difference!

A good leveling guide doesn"t just tell you the fastest leveling path—it helps automate the process. No one can make leveling more fun, but you can make it to where you don"t have to pay attention while you are doing it. Using Dugi's Guide, I have even leveled while I was watching a movie! Because it has a waypoint arrow that points ingame to your next quest objective, it really takes the brainwork out of questing.

In short, if you care about not losing your account, I would go for a leveling guide. They are more value for the money as you can keep using the leveling guide over and over for new characters, and they are just about as fast.

The Author Speaks

There's a lot of blogs out there on the internet to choose from, and I've never even been the type to read them. If you're wondering what makes this blog unique from the others, or why you should care more about what I have to say than someone else--I have no idea! I certainly don't care what I have to say most of the time.

Regardless, I have decided to dip my toes into the woes of the blogging stream after deciding I needed a way to vent my writer's block in a more tangible fashion. As a 2X year old college student, the only writing I usually face is papers for my classes.

I'll start out by saying that I'm not always the most eloquent speaker. In fact, I waste such copious amounts of time in games that I have begun using gaming speak in odd situations. I started out playing Final Fantasy a few years ago and wound up playing Call of Duty--how does that even work? I wonder sometimes.

My current favorite game is World of Warcraft, and I spend way more time in world than I should. Right now I'm a bit time poor so I mostly just play the Auction House. However, when I can, I also enjoy leveling with friends. I don't level much by myself anymore as it can be pretty boring.

When I'm not in-world, I'm usually playing pool at local bars or seeing movies with friends (when I can afford it). The great thing about bar pool is that you usually only have to pay for the beer, the rest is free. Nothing like trying to hit things in a straight line when the whole world is crooked!

I used to be into table tops but I have since divided my interests. I still have a Zocchihedron (that's a 100 sided die for those of you not on the scene) from the old days.

This blog will probably be dedicated exclusively to World of Warcraft and the many wonders of the world of Azeroth. After playing for so many years, I consider myself something of an expert in the Auction House and will probably offer some advice for those struggling with making gold in the game. I have no idea how long I will be blogging this, but I hope I will be able to continue it for at least a while.

World of Warcraft is a fascinating game, and I urge anyone who likes RPGs to give it a try. I don't play on the RPG servers, and instead enjoy the turmoil that comes with PvP realms. However, it's all fun, and it's a great experience for those of us who need a few hours just for ourselves after a busy day.
